Deleted files still appear in PM

I use ACR for my preliminary editing. I upload images to PM and then open the ones I want to edit from PM in ACR. Sometimes I decide to delete a photo in ACR. In the past, when I did this and gone back to PM the image will be deleted/taken out of PM. Now it still appears in PM. I have to delete it again. Any idea what is causing this problem? Used to work fine.

Using PM 4.6.5

Are you certain that the file has truly been deleted?  Have you checked with your OS?  (You didn't mention if you use Mac OSX - Finder or Windows - Windows Explorer.)
