MY PM 4.6.5 under Win XP Pro will display Panasonic LX3 RAW files. Will it display LX5 RAW files, or will an update be necessary? (I don't yet have the LX5, so can't test this myself.)

More than likely, but it may require changes to PM to render.  We don't have any sample files from that camera yet, so I can't give you an exact answer.

If you can find some sample images and get them to us, please let me know.
