Hi Kirk,

Don't know if anyone has suggested this or if it's something that could be done easily.

What about a pref where I could toggle off the fields I don't use for metadata, such as "Object Name, Category, Supp Cat 1", etc. so that when I hit the tab I go only to the fields that I use? Basically, hide the data and data entry fields that I don't use or need.

For example, I'll type in the caption, headline, keywords, then want to jump to City, Location. Now I've got to hit the tab a whole bunch of times or grab the mouse and click in the field I want.

What would be great is if I could pick-and-choose the fields, then just tab to those I use, disabling the rest, but still keeping them available without affecting any of the data within. It would definitely speed entry, reduce keystrokes and reduce data clutter, IMO!

Thanks as always!

It is indeed an often requested feature.

Same thing for the window "IPTC Infor for <picture name>".

Also with the raise of widescreen resolutions, when you resize that window there is a lot of lost space that could be better used.  For example each side of the navigation block.  The navigation, sound and IPTC encoding blocks could be flatten when the screen is wide enough.  Then the picture could take more space having a bigger picture by default instead of having to do CTRL+Z to see it bigger.

Pascal.
