Drag and Drop a Folder?

Can I drag and drop a folder from my desktop onto a folder that is listed in the favorites panel or the Navigator?

I *can* drag and drop within those panels but I thought that in the past I could take a folder form my desktop and drag it right to the Navigator and drop it wherever I needed it to be. I could be wrong...maybe just wishful thinking ;)

No, the dragged item must originate from within PM or it is ignored by the Favorites/Navigator.
