spell check in PM, mac vs. PC

I noticed when using PM 4.5.4 on a PC (Windows XP) , misspelled words have a red squiggly line underneath  in the IPTC info field. However on my G4 mac (dual-core intel Xeon 2.66 GHz, OS 10.4.11) with PM 4.6.6, I can only view misspelled words as I type them

It's a bug in Mac OS X when spell checking in modal dialogs (dialogs that make you OK/Cancel them to continue).
