Help with IPTC Data Fields.
« on: February 05, 2011, 03:05:59 AM »
I am running Photo Mechanic version 4.6.6 and I run Windows on my Dell Studio 1745 Laptop.

I provide images for a few Sports agencies.

My workflow is this:

a) Before the game I load an XMP file into the IPTC Stationary Pad.
b) I take the pictures during the game
c) Download onto laptop
d) Crop
e) Caption using Code Replacement
f) Then send to appx 40 images to Sports Agency (1) via FTP

The one problem I am having is that when I want to send the same images to Sports Agency (2) I need to alter the following:

1) Caption Writers
2) Credit
3) Copyright URL
4) Contact Details (Email, Phone, Web)

The problem is when I do this I lose the Code Replacement as well. How do I alter these 4 items without losing the Code Replacement?

Cheers

Paul

If you're using the IPTC Stationery Pad to set those last four fields, make sure you uncheck any fields that you don't want overwritten.
