Watermark Logo Does Not Appear after FTP

I'm using PM v4.6.6 on a MacBook Pro, Intel Core i7, OS 10.6.6. We have been using a jpg logo as a watermark, applied during ftping images to our web site for about a month. Two days ago we noticed the after ftp'ing the images to any ftp address, the logo was not there. Any idea what's going on?

No.  Have you tried re-entering the watermark settings again or try them in a different part of the application like in Save As?

I did reselect the logo. It does work in Save As, but not FTP'ing. I have just discovered that by changing from a jpg logo to a png logo, it now works. Any idea why it worked for a month as a jpg?

 No, but I wouldn't expect it to have worked very well since JPEGs have no way to describe transparent areas of the image.  PNGs do, and so do TIFFs.
