Renaming on 'Save As'

Hello,

I'm trying to save full-sized JPEGs of edited NEFs for upload to my Zenfolio site. The files all end in "_2.nef". This is a typical name -- 2011_07_05__NEF0856_2.nef.

(PM prepends the date and double underline on ingest; I append the "_2" when I edit.)

I also tag the files with a green colour class so I can easily isolate them from unedited files in the contact sheet window.

My plan was to highlight all the 'green' files in each session (Ctrl-a), then save them as JPEGs (Ctrl-s) using "{filename}_Zen" in the 'Rename as:' field.

That produces this sort of result -- 2011_07_05__NEF0856_2.nef_Zen.jpg .

Can I get the renamer to act just on the stem of the file name, so I get this: 2011_07_05__NEF0856_2_Zen.jpg ?

Or is there a slicker way to do the job?

Sure.  Use {filenamebase} instead of {filename} in your renaming string.
