Our newspaper is changing all the Dell latitude laptops with IBMs and I wondering how I will get download photomechanics to the laptop. Is there another way.
You can do one of several things:
1) Download the current version of the Photo Mechanic installer from our website once and put it on a server and install it on each of the laptops while it is connected to your intranet.
2) Download the current version from our server directly on each system while it is connected to the internet and then install it.
3) Call us and request a CD-ROM containing the installer, and take the CD-ROM to each system and install it.
Unless I am misunderstanding what you are asking, there are lots of ways you could get Photo Mechanic on each of your new systems. Or are you wondering how to preserve all of your settings from your old computers to your new ones?
