Hi Kirk,

I just wanted to download and install the latest beta version of PM on my Win7 pc. Unfortunately, Norton IS 2012 flags it as a threat and removes it. That never happened before for any version of PM. I attached a screen shot from the Norton info window for your reference.

Regards,
Juerg

PS: Do I need to install the old version 4.6.8 prior to installing 4.6.9 beta, or can they run parallel?

Juerg,

I'm sure it's a false positive.  It happened a few years ago to PM 4.5.x as well.

PM 4.6.9 will overwrite PM 4.6.8 unless you install it to a different folder than the default folder that the installer provides.

Thanks Kirk.

I was assuming it is a false positive, but wanted to be sure. Better save than sorry. I'll retore it and install it today.

By the way, IS submitted the file to Symantec. They probably will include it as save with the new Norton update.
