Is there any sort of logging of ingest tasks?

I'm trying to trace the cause of some data loss and want to verify that the photos were indeed ingested through Photo Mechanic.

Daniel,

Ingest has no logging facility.  If you didn't see any errors reported in the Ingest Tasks window then Ingest encountered no errors.

The most common issue is with using some of the more advanced features of Ingest such as Ingesting Locked Photos only or Ingesting RAW Photos only or Ingesting JPEG Photos only.  If one does that and doesn't later Ingest the rest of the images then it is possible to have data loss when the card is returned to the camera and then formatted.

If you never use those options then Ingest should have downloaded all of your images unless it reported errors.
