reordering images ie not by filename

Hi,

I thought that Kirk was going to release a version that was going to allow us to do this in the autumn.  Maybe I missed it.
To be clear I want to override the filename order esp when setting up to show slideshows.
Can it be done yet?
Apologies if this is old hat but I have searched though not maybe using the right keywords.

This feature will be present in the 4.5 version of Photo Mechanic which is still in development.
