Downloadable User Manual
« on: August 08, 2012, 05:49:48 AM »
Is there a downloadable user manual for PM 4.6.9 anywhere? I’ve searched, and the only thing I can find is at <http://camerabits.fileburst.com/Photo_Mechanic_4.6.3_Manual.pdf>. That takes an age to load, and I’m unable to download it anyway.

A search of the forums also found a post from Kirk announcing a PM 4.6.3 manual, but the link he provides is broken.

This is the link to the most current manual:

http://camerabits.fileburst.com/Photo_Mechanic_4.6.3_Manual.pdf

Instead of clicking on it with your left mouse button (which will cause your browser to create a page hosting a PDF viewer plugin), right click on it and choose the option that allows you to download the file to your computer.  Then open the downloaded PDF file in something like Adobe Reader.

HTH,

Hi Kirk,

Thanks very much for your help. For some reason it seems I forgot how to download PDFs! Got it now.

Will there be a user manual for PM 5?  I've used PM from way back and usually go through the manual from start to finish  when there is a new version.  Greatest program in the world for handling images.  I can't thank you enough for making my job so manageable.

Yes.  We have hired a new Technical Writer and he is hard at work producing a new Photo Mechanic: Version 5 manual.
