PM5 untags photos on card after closing contact sheet
« on: August 21, 2012, 04:11:23 PM »
I'm running PM5 on Mac OS 10.6.8, 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7.

My problem can be summarized by the subject line of this post: My Photo Mechanic 5 untags photos on a card after closing a contact sheet.

To elaborate, when I insert a card from either my EOS Mark IV or EOS 60D (I haven't tried with any other cameras) and tag my selections within the app, those tags go away after I close the contact sheet. In other words, when I re-open the card's folder as a contact sheet, no photos are tagged, regardless of whether I remove the card from the computer in between.

The exception is if I tag a photo in-camera. Photos tagged (or marked as locked/protected) in-camera remain as tagged regardless of how many times I open and close the camera folder as a contact sheet.

It's also worth noting that folders on my computer are not affected the same way. Photos tagged in-app remain tagged after closing the contact sheet.

Any help?
