I am doing a lot of events where I am using voice record to note information and/or competitor number in the Nikon voice recorder.
My workflow is to bring up the IPTC panel and enter the competitor number in the {caption} field then press "+" to go to the next image.
I would like to see an option, perhaps just a persistent check box on the IPTC panel that would let PM automatically play a sound file that it encounters when one so I can just stay heads down and entering numbers into the caption field. I know that there is a shortcut key, but in high speed data entry mode, it is inconvenient because:
1 - I have to look to see that there is a sound file
2 - I have to move my hands from the number row to the multi-key shortcut to the play the sound
3 - I have to move my hands back to the number keys.
In this heads-down mode, I am trying to quickly process upwards of 3000 images per event. Event saving a few seconds per image AND increasing the reliability of always hearing a sound file as I move through the folder would be a great benefit.
I would be happy to explain further to show why this would be a valuable enhancement in the future.
