PM "flickers" after changing preview
« on: January 01, 2013, 06:22:29 AM »
Hi and a Happy New Year to all of you!

I am running Photo Mechanic version 5, build 13507 on Windows 7x64.

Hope my English is good enough to tell my problem: Approximitly 5 sec. after changing a prieview there is a short "flickering/black out" on my screen. That happens after every change. It happens only on my PC, on my Notebook PM runs fine.

Greetings
Werner

What do your Memory Cache settings look like on each system?
When you say 'after changing a preview', do you mean some sort of soft edit like tagging, rating, color classification, IPTC, crop, etc?  Or is this happening when simply advancing through the photos in the Preview window?

Hi Kirk!

Memory cache settings are identical.
It happens when advancing through the photos and when editing.
