PM 5 change color scheme to Windows 7 Basic
« on: April 23, 2013, 06:50:46 PM »
At launching PM 5 change color scheme  to Windows 7 Basic.

Searched the forums and found reported problems  with older version of PM and  possible conflict with Quicktime.

Unistaled Quicktime but no change.

I am running PM 5.0, build 13915 (a16e99) on a machine with  Windows 7  Ultimate with Aero.

Please advice.

Thanks

Miguel

I run Windows 7 Ultimate x64 with Aero enabled and I never have this problem.  Please tell me how to reproduce the problem and if I can reproduce it I will see what I can do to fix it.

This video may be of help in taking control away from Windows and not allowing it to make those changes:

Kirk,

Follow instruction on video but  continue with black screen  and message, however the Process identifier has change.

Thanks

Miguel

Do you have some kind of custom theme on your system?  And the process ID changing is normal.  Each time you launch an application it is given a new PID.
