Finding a carriage return

Is there a way of finding a carriage return and replacing it with a space within the text in the Caption Field ?
Many thanks,
Martin

Martin,

Is there a way of finding a carriage return and replacing it with a space within the text in the Caption Field ?

Sure.  Copy a return character from one of your Captions that you want to replace.  Close the IPTC Info dialog and open the Find and Replace panel.  Paste the return character into your Find text, and put a space in the Replace text.  Then issue the Find and Replace operation.

That should do it.

I had tried doing that - and have tried doing it again - but those pesky breals in the caption remain.
Could I PM you an example ?
