Rotate photo shortcut on european keyboard

No.  The bracket keys are the shortcut keys.  The keyboard shortcuts are not editable at this time.

Could you post a picture of your keyboard?  Perhaps we could add an alternate set of keys that will work with your keyboard.

Wow, no square brackets at all!  How does one in your country write computer software (the square brackets are often used in computer languages to index through arrays of values)?

Wikipedia has many keyboard layouts, including yours (I think) :

If you press one of the qualifier keys like your "alt" and 8 or 9, do you output a bracket?

alt + 8 gives left bracket, alt + 9 gives right bracket - they do not, however, rotate images in Photo Mechanic.

OK, got this far: cmd+alt+8 rotates counter clockwise, cmd+alt+9 rotates clockwise, though only in thumbnail view - not in Preview.  Semi cool.

Hmm, that's a difficult one, because so many key combinations are already taken & different users have different requests.  So, really any key or two-key combination would be wonderful.
I wonder though, why the cmd+alt+either8 or 9 rotate, but ONLY in thumbnail view and not Preview???
And may I mention I am still on version 4.6.9 - which, otherwise, serves my needs really fine.

I don't know why it would work in one place and not the other.  But if I make a change it will only be in PM5.  PM4.6.x is no longer being maintained.

I've got the same problem as my Swedish keyboard is more or less the same as the Danish one.

What about using some of the unused the Fn-keys?

Hey guys, I'm also working on a Swedish keyboard, running Mac OS X and Photo Mechanic both on latest versions. I manage to rotate images in Contact Sheet as well as Preview with CMD+OPT+8/9. How ever the keyboard shortcut does not work in IPTC Info Dialog. Happy!
