The editor is looking for:  attempt to crop at 10x7. I would NOT crop at 300dpi or 3000 by 2000 though because that makes the image 18mb in size.

I think he is more focused on dimensions.

10x7 in what units?  Inches?  At how many pixels per inch?

You'll have to know the DPI then.  Ask for the DPI and if he won't give you that information then ask him how many pixels wide and tall he wants the images to be.

240 DPI is very common and that would make your image size 2400x1680 when cropped to 10x7 inches.

I'm not sure if will make a difference or not.  However, I'm going to crop in Photo Mechanic next time instead of PhotoShop.

Knowing the desired pixel dimensions would be about the most helpful information we could get at this point.

It's 7MB uncompressed for SRAW and 10MB for RAW.

But what pixel dimensions does your editor want?
