Date Field Isn't Sticky
« on: April 01, 2014, 09:13:20 AM »
I'm having trouble applying capture dates to my archive. In the Stationery Pad dialogue box I change "Capture Time" to "Date" and enter the year month and day the photo was shot. When applied to a group of images the "Date" reverts to 2/25/14  Please advise.

I am running Photo Mechanic Version 5.0, build 15419 (aa634dd) and I run Mac OS X 10.9.2 on my Intel-based Mac.

First try this updated build:

If the problem still persists, you'll need to tell me more about your IPTC/XMP settings (post a screen shot) and let me know what kind of photos you're working with.

I changed the Preference in IPTC/XMP settings to "Date" and, most importantly, checked the box in the Stationery Pad that makes the Date field active.

Also, the Copy & Paste function in Stationery does not work for "Date"

I am running Photo Mechanic Version 5.0, build 15430 (1c30ca2) and I run Mac OS X 10.9.2 on my Intel-based Mac.

That is intentional.
