PM will not open contact sheet

I am new to PM and have looked at the videos and they are helping ...however I want PM to open a contact sheet where I have my images ..it is a 1 TB external drive. After some searching I see that if I go to my C drive a contact sheet will open. That is not what I want ..how do I get PM to open with my external drive. Maybe I missed something at install?

Does your external drive have a drive letter?

Perhaps you could post a screen shot of what the drive looks like (expanded to show the root folders) in Windows Explorer?  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your JPEG format screenshot.

THE EXTERNAL DRIVE IS "L"
First screen shot shows it's location in relationship to "C" internal..
The second screen shot shows the content of "my mage vault" which is where I want all image storage and processing

I see only one screen shot, but I may not need to see the other one.  How are you attempting to open your contact sheets?  There are several ways: drag and drop from Windows Explorer, Navigator, Favorites, and the Open Contact Sheet command on the File menu.
