« on: January 11, 2015, 01:53:40 AM »
HI

In my Caption 8 have :
{model}
objectif : {lt}

{lens}mm
 f/{f} {shut}" ISO{iso}

copyright : {copyright}-keywords   {keywords}

All is fine with my Nikon, no objectif name for my A7 even with a "legacy" sony-zeiss-24-70

Thanks for help.

To be clear, "objectif : {lt}" results in:

objectif :

{lt} returns no value at all?

I find information is in JPEG, not in RAW, surprising, I shoot only in RAW.

Mac Mavericks, PM 5

Preview and CaptureOne see correctly my objectif from a ARW pictures, PM NOT !

I put this in my caption field :
{model}
objectif : {lt}

lens type : {lenstype}
lens type num : {lenstypenum}

lens : {lens} mm
 f/{f} {shut}" ISO{iso}

It is fine for a NEF, result :
NIKON D600
objectif : 35.0 mm f/1.4

lens type : 35.0 mm f/1.4
lens type num : 0

lens : 35 mm
 f/5.6 1/80" ISO40

and BAD for a ARW :
ILCE-7
objectif :

lens type :
lens type num : 0

lens : 66 mm
 f/11 1/320" ISO640

Who helps me ?
Thanks

We currently do not parse Sony makernotes.  That data is proprietary and we have to invest a lot of time to reverse-engineer the various data in order to get the lens information.
