Odd scroll wheel problem
« on: March 26, 2015, 06:27:50 AM »
I just installed a new Microsoft wireless mouse 4000 - When I scroll in a preview window of a contact sheet - scrolling down seem to be fine but scrolling up takes me up 2 and back one or 2 or three or 4 - I can't seem to go backwards (except on an odd occasion) most times I go forwards.
Works fine in LR PS & word.
Any ideas - I reinstalled drivers

That is odd.  I don't know why that would happen and I have no workaround at this time to suggest to you.

Joe,

Here is a thought: what happens if you adjust the scroll wheel sensitivity down?

Non of the changes I tried have any effect - better or worse, faster or slower. And I plugged my old mouse back in it works as expected - weird!

OK, well I am imagining that something is going wrong with the math used to map scroll wheel values to reasonable scroll values for the Contact Sheet.  I'll add some logging to PM and get you a build to test with.  You'll have to get me the log so I can try and see what is going on.
