Why is it that PM will not work properly with an Wacom Intuous table attached to the system.  I have problems with the injest function.

WIN 2K
PM 4.5.2

I have no idea.  What specifically does not work in the Ingest feature?  I'd really need a lot more information from you in order to help you.  Please provide as much detail as you can.

Hmm, I have an Intuos3 tablet and found no problems with ingest.
WinXP, PM 4.5.3 beta.

Could it be a W2K problem?

I'm using a Wacom Intus 3 on a Mac G5, a MacBookPro (both Leopard) and on a windows XP machine.

No Problems with PM.

Thanks for the reply.
The problems that I am having are;
1: ingest stats normally, then slows down, then stops,  windows may, or may not, report "Delayed Write Error".
2: then I get a "Usafe Removal of Device"
3:  PM reports that ingest has completed and will report that there have been errors ( the files that have not been ingested

I submit that this is probably a problem with W2K.  I Was curious to know if the was any known issues.

Thanks again

Kevin

I have not heard of this issue before now.  But I will say that Windows 2000 is no longer on our list of supported operating systems.  We currently support:

Windows XP SP2+
Windows Vista
Mac OS X 10.3.9 through 10.5.x

Update
I just uninstalled the WACOM driver and reloaded the driver with the lastest download.  I still have the problem.

It almost sounds like you have hardware conflicts between your Wacom and your disk drive.  Are you writing to a USB drive?  If I remember correctly, Win2K's USB support was sort of flakey.
