I always find them listed by date.
I prefer alphabetical, what solution ?

Change the sort popup menu in the Favorites pane to sort by alphabetical.

Yes but each time I open PM, it is always sort by dates

What OS are you running? If it is Mac OS X, right click on any Favorite and choose the Preferences menu item and set your default sort order.

You have inadvertently changed the default. Do as Kirk said and right click the panel, choose preferences and change the setting there.

I agree these preferences should indeed be in the application preferences, perhaps in PM6
