A few months back, I posted that I would like to see a "reveal in folders" feature, similar to the one in ON1 RAW.
Turns out, PM+ can already do that - and do it very nicely indeed. It just doesn't have a specific menu command.
The rationale here is that photographers often search for an image by its metadata when their actual final destination is the shoot that image came from.
Execute a search in PM+. Select an image in the search results grid. Drag that image to the PM+ icon in the dock. Voila! You'll be looking at a new contact sheet of the folder in which that image resides. With the image selected, no less. You just couldn't do it any more elegantly.
Alternatively, if you set PM+ as a target for the "Edit Image With..." context menu command, you'll achieve the same result.
If the action had its own context menu command, it would be discoverable without subscribing to my YouTube channel :-)
(I did this on a Mac. You'd probably need to use a desktop icon in Windows. I vaguely remember that drag-to-taskbar functionality in Windows is no longer working).
