Favourites disappeared after PM update

Photo Mechanic Plus Version 6.0, build 6097 (85d1687)

All my Favourites disappeared after installing the PM update above. It's easy enough to put them all back, so no big deal, but I figured you'd want to know.

Ouch, this did not happen when I just updated, but I'm sure that was no fun.  Do you remember what build you updated from? Not sure if that makes a difference.

I always keep up, so it must have been the previous build.

It happened again... all my favourites just vanished.

The OS version doesn't seem to matter because when I first reported this last fall I was on an older MacBook Pro running Mojave. I bought a new M1 MacBook Pro a few weeks ago so it happened on Monterey this time. I set up PM on the new machine, added all my favourites, and all was well until I updated PM just now (to build 6375).

I also updated PM on the old Mac, and it did not vaporize the favourites, so it seems kinda random.

To be safe I make a habit of exporting PM preferences whenever I make a change... it's a shame that favourites aren't part of that backup. Is there any chance that favourites could be backed up as well? Not the end of the world to set them up again, but if this keeps happening it could get frustrating.

I'd like to see your Photo Mechanic Plus log.  In Photo Mechanic Plus go to the Help menu and choose "Reveal Support Data..." and moments later a Finder window will come forward with the zipped log file selected.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your zipped PM log file.

Thanks.  Unfortunately there's no indication of the loss of your favorites.

I'll make it possible to export and import the list of Favorites in the next build of our apps.
