Ingest from Camera - No Camera shown
« on: January 20, 2010, 10:29:07 PM »
I'm trying to ingest directly from a Nikon S210 - But the ingest window does not show the camera - Windows explorer (Vista 64) shows it as a camera but without a drive letter.
What am I missing? For now I coppied the images using explorer.

If the camera has this setting, change its USB mode from PTP to Mass Storage Mode. It will then show up with a drive letter in Windows, allowing PhotoMechanic to work with it.

But perhaps the best option is to use a card reader (usually faster anyway).
