Save frame from movie
« on: July 11, 2012, 10:07:50 AM »
Love the new look of pm5 and I am excited about saving frames from a movie file.
Running a movie and stopping at an interesting frame, then save as, however just saves the frame from the beginning of the clip, not from where the frame was selected.
Any idea if that is a bug or if I do something wrong?

Thank you for your help.

How are you bringing up the Save As dialog?  By pressing 'S'?  Or by using some other method?

Hi Kirk, thanks for replying so quick.
I tried first from the menu bar on the top and then again cmd S.
Both with the same out come, which was that the first frame was save but not the selected one, where the movie was stopped at.

Give Public Beta 3 a try.  It shouldn't have this problem anymore.  I tried all of the different ways of saving from the Preview window (pressing 's', Command-S, choosing Save As from the File menu, and by right-clicking on the movie and choosing Save As from the contextual menu) and they all work now.
