Tuomo,

Yes, the speed difference is clear.

Maybe the Quartz Debug tool is not compatible with the Retina Display.  My display on my desktop system is 1920x1200 and Quartz Debug works fine.  I can't get the flash identical updates to work properly though.

Hopefully the new system will arrive soon and I can get to the bottom of the issue.

Thanks for your assistance!

Kirk,

Quick search via Google show that there are some issues in Quartz Debug. Please let me know if there are anything else what i can do to help you with this one.

Thank you.

Tuomo,

Any update to this issue?

I now have a MacBookPro with Retina Display and have made some optimizations.  It appears to be as fast or faster than my old MacBookPro with the same images.  I can give you a build to try if you'd like.

That sounds good. I had to go back to PM4 because PM5 was too slow to work with. I would be very interested in getting the new build.

Thank you

Kirk,

Now it's working as it should, when you release next build?
A big thank you for that you handled this very well.

Probably next week.  You can continue using what I gave you in the interim.

Great! BTW. Are you planning to add retina resolution support?
