No, Photo Mechanic does not have any special support for touch gestures on Windows.

Thanks Kirk. Sorry just saw your reply. I am a mac user but very interested in the touch aspects of working with my clients as they select their photos. Am I understanding you correctly that you cannot touch the images in thumbnail view to select them on a windows 8 touch computer?

I honestly have no idea.  We don't have a Windows 8 system with a touch interface.  I would imagine that all apps would respond to the equivalent of a mouse click though.

We make the two versions as similar as we can possibly make them, yes.
