CTRL-C in Info
« on: January 03, 2021, 02:37:09 AM »
Hi all,

Unfortunately my small (but very annoying) bug isn't still fixed: If I select characters in the info-panel and press CTRL-C, nothing happens. However, if I click right and choose "Copy" then the information is copied to the clipboard.

Could you please correct this in the next build? Thanks!

Kind regards,
Rien van Ham

I'm unable to reproduce the problem on my system (Ctrl-C works just fine) so I'm not sure why it doesn't work for you or how I would fix it.

Hi Kirk,

Strange. Old machine: didn't work. Brand new machine with newly installed Windows 10: doesn't work.

Machine: Ryzen 5950X, 64 GB memory, nVidia 3090, SSD's.

see attachment: double click (e.g. Fietsvakantie), press CTRL-C.. nothng happens.

I've running a Clipboard-watcher (AceText): reports nothing. Shutted down AceText: nothing happens.

Thanks in advance.

And all this time I thought you were talking about the Metadata Info dialog.  Now that I see that you're talking about the Info text in the Preview window, I can confirm that Ctrl-C does not work for me either.  I will see what I can do to fix it.

Hi Kirk,

I'm working a while now with copying and pasting information from the infopanel but very often a CTRL-C is missed by PMP.
e.g.: copy a word (e.g. station) (CTRL-C) , past it (CTRL-V): station is pasted
copy a next word (e.g. 's-Hertogenbosch) (CTRL-C), past it (CTRL-V): station is pasted
not every time, but very very often!

So, if I do a bunch of copy-paste-actions very often a word is missed.

Thanks in advance!
