Pixieset allows clients to tag favorite images in a gallery. Then I get an email saying that someone has created a favorites list. I log into pixieset and I'm able to collect this list of favorite images in one of two ways: either a comma separated list of filenames which copied to my clipboard (for pasting into a search field in Lightroom), or as a .CSV file. See attached csv file for sample.
My workflow is this --
1) select certain images in PM (all Nikon RAW Files), then export as JPG for upload to Pixieset.
2) client tags faves in Pixieset.
3) pixieset gives me either a "Lightroom Copy List," comma separated list copy of filenames into my clipboard (with or without file extension of my choosing -- none is simplist), or a CSV file. Per your advice from April, I go into the CSV file and clean it up to convert into a PM Load Selection file -- removing header, filename extension, and unneeded columns.
Then, my client's favorites are Selected in PM -- at which point I tag/color code/ or rate as appropriate.
