File size estimate doesn't change in Save As...
« on: September 15, 2010, 11:41:26 AM »
When I choose JPG in the Save As... dialog and choose "to fit box" or "to custom width" for "Scaling", the file size estimate near the JPG quality slider updates accordingly.  However, when I choose "to percentage" and put in any percentage other than 100%, the file size estimate does NOT update.

I am running PM 4.6.5 under Snow Leopard 10.6.4.

Perhaps you could be more specific about the percentages you're using?  I tried 90% through 110% and after each change a moment later the new size appeared for me on PM 4.6.6 (beta).  Note that nothing in the JPEG size estimate code has changed between 4.6.5 and 4.6.6.

How about posting a screen shot of your settings so I can try to duplicate this issue?

Thanks,

-Kirk

If I use the arrows to nudge the % up or down, the estimated file size next to the JPG slider DOES update. but if I type a percentage into field and tab out of the text box, or click in another text box, the % does NOT update.
