How to get Search results for PM Forums in date order?
« on: December 24, 2012, 03:59:38 PM »
I am doing my best to figure out answers on my own, but when I search the forums, the results are not in date order, so I see posts from 2008 before 2012, etc.   Is there a trick to using the search feature more effectively?

Thanks,
jan

You can use the Advanced Search link (at the bottom of the Search interface) to limit the age of the results (in days) and there is a popup menu titled "Search order:" that lets you choose the order of the results which you could try changing to "Most recent topics first".

Thank you , Kirk.  I have never actually clicked on the word "Search" before entering text, and thus never saw the advanced menu.   Mucccccch easier!
