Shortcut switching from ratings to color coding

It would be wonderful if we could add a shortcut to quickly switch back and forth between using color coding or the number rating system. I switch back and forth often and it is a pain to go to file>preferences>accessibility to change back and forth. Would it be possible to add this adjustment in the toolbar of the window?

There's no key to switch the preference, but why don't you Just hold the CMD/CTRL or ALT key when you press the number key? That way you can set rating and colour class directly.

I was not aware that I could hold down the command key to quickly switch to color or rating. That is an acceptable solution for now although I still wish for a quick toggle switch in my toolbar. Thank you for the suggestion. This helps!
