code replacements
« on: December 13, 2015, 06:23:35 AM »
Just trialling the latest PM on a new macbook pro. I have the older version which works fine on my old Mac Book pro.
On text edit, I type e.g., jb  Joe Bloggs

When I type /jb/in the IPTC field it comes up Joe Bloggs/
Any ideas why the / is coming up and how to get rid of this?

thanks

I expect that your Code Replacement file isn't a plain text file and has some formatting characters in it.  Please make sure your text file is a plain-text file encoded in UTF-8 and not some RTF, Word, Excel, etc. document.

If you post your file here, then I can look at it and give you a definitive answer.

Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your Code Replacement file.

Thanks,
