Workflow with Nikon Capture NX
« on: February 15, 2007, 01:52:52 PM »
Kirk-
I shoot RAW using Nikon 200. My workflow consists of ingesting photos using PM (adding metadata), reviewing for keepers and adding keywords. My folder structure consists of the following

1Working
       2007-02-15
2TIFF
       2007-02-15
3DNG
       2007-02-15
4Masters
-------------
a. Injested photos go as RAW to dated sub-folder in 1Working. Photos are reviewed and keywords are added.
b. I us PM to pass along photos to Nikon NX (v1.1) for enhancements. My questions are two-fold-

Sorry-I hit post instead of preview-

Anyway-

b. I use PM to pass photos on to Nikon NX (v1.1) for adjustments.

My question is-

Could you provide a snapshot of the preference panel (IPTC/XMP) in PM I should use so as not to create XMP files with PM in the injestion and review process.

Thanks

Dave

Are the settings the same for 4.5.3 Windows?

The screenshots wouldn't be exactly the same since the Windows version doesn't support IPTC-NAA resources, but otherwise, yes they're the same.
