Hi.
I am running Version 5.0 on OX 10.11.2
I get the following error durning ingest.
"Incremental Ingest: Unable to create or locate Ingest data file on /Volumes/NIKON D750. Is this a read-only volume? Incremental Ingest will not function for this volume."
Any suggestions?
Troy.

Have you checked if that volume is indeed writable by you? Open it in e.g., finder and check the folder info to see if you can write to it.

Yes I think that is the problem. I can not write anything to the card. How do I correct that?

Though the rights issue indeed explains the issues you were having, I don't have a clue why you wouldn't be able to write to the card. It is a simple FAT file system and at connection to your Mac you should normally get all rights. Did you perhaps mount the disk when you were logged in as another user?

Troy,
You didn't say what card type you were trying to Ingest from, but does it have a physical write-protect switch on it? If so, try sliding it to the opposite position.

I am using SanDisk Extreme Pro. The card is not locked.

I am using SanDisk Extreme Pro. The card is not locked.
Then you'll have to find out why you can't create a file on the card. In the Finder you should be able to 'Get Info' on the card and view its permissions. Make sure you have the ability to read and write to the card.
