PM gets slower and slower

Hi,

I use PM for many years now, but during the last months, especially since I run ElCapitan on my Mac, it is getting slower and slower, I even get the impression that it slows down all my other programs ...
Any hints  to get rid of this behaviour?

There are many things that contribute to slow behavior on a computer.

Does your system have enough RAM to keep the OS and all of the apps you're running resident in memory, or does the system have to page out/in data constantly?
Are your hard drive's files fragmented or are they fairly contiguous?  If they're fragmented then reading the files becomes significantly slower.

I'd like to see your Photo Mechanic log.  In Photo Mechanic go to the Help menu and choose "Reveal Support Data..." and moments later a Finder window will come forward with the zipped log file selected.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your zipped PM log file.

The only events of concern are some exceptions while uploading over a week ago.  Otherwise your log is very quiet.

I suggest at this point running Disk Utility and checking out your hard disks and repairing any problems it finds.
