IPTC/ batch captions

I want to put the original file names of photos from a shoot into the IPTC info for each photo. Each photo has the filename i want put in the caption- does anyone know if there is a way to batch add specific filenames to all files?

Put the variable {filename} in one of your IPTC Stationery Pad fields, check its associated checkbox and then apply the Stationery Pad to your photos.
