Preview wiindow thumbnail problem
« on: November 23, 2016, 05:30:52 AM »
Mac Yosemite 20014 MacBookPro
Latest PM.
This has been going on for a couple of years and its finally annoyed me enough to post...
In preview window with sidebar thumbnails if I scroll the thumbs with a mouse or trackpad the redraw is not good (see attached image).
Best quality previews and thumbnail bar orientation makes no difference...
Any thoughts?

Do you have Photo Mechanic's Preview preference page set to use the Best ( uses more memory ) option in the High DPI Display Quality menu? By default, this menu is set to the Standard (fastest) option.   Check the Caching preference page to make sure the Memory Cache size is 400 MB, not the default 256 MB.  If the Preview window is still displaying re-draw issues, try the R shortcut key to Restore the window's default settings.

Try resizing the Preview window.
