Switching filmstrip from horizontal to vertical

I accidentally switched the filmstrip from vertical to horizontal and can't figure out how do unswitch. Can someone help?

There is a button in the Preview window toolbar that looks something like an uppercase 'L'.  Click on it to toggle the orientation of the thumbnail strip.
