smaller zoom factor than 1/4x
« on: February 02, 2017, 04:57:39 AM »
Hi,

Is it possible to have a smaller zoom factor than 1/4th?

When culling I like to work with a small preview. Working with large resolution images I can't zoom out to have a small preview.

Thank you,
Joost

Not currently.

Why not do all of your culling in the Contact Sheet with the largest thumbnail size?  Unless you're doing something like cropping, culling is fast in the Contact Sheet.

Hi Kirk,

I want culling to be FAST and INTUITIVE. Exactly what photo mechanic is made for. Going through 6000+ images per wedding I want only the relevant information to enter my brain. Culling in a contact sheet gives me too much distraction from the actual image. When I have a blanc screen with an image in the middle slightly zoomed out I instantly get a basic information of the image (what story does it tell, contrast, framing etc). When culling with a big image on a 27" iMac, i get distracted by different elements in the image and it takes more time to process the basic elements of the image.
Not sure if this makes sense ;)
It would be an AWESOME feature to be able to zoom out a bit more.

THANKS!

I think this would also help with the huge D850 previews as well...
