Rename Ingested Photos As

Hello there
I trying to work out if possible when you Ingested your photos from the CF card you can keep the file names (just the numbers) set by the camera at all in the images\verables? So i like to lose the IMG and CRW but keep the  _2345 (IMG_2345.CRW.) I can do this in LR!

So it will be names (of the shot) the month and year and a set number then the file number! So it look like this:

Name    Date Set    File number off the camera
London 1-17 1000-8521
London 1-17 1000-8522
London 1-17 1000-8523

Or can i rename the after as a back at all as above please?

Rather than the way you say 0001 as you say in the Rename Ingested Photos as section.

Use this as your renaming string:

London 1-17 1000-{filenamebase:-4}

This is how I do it to end up with my surname and today's date chronologically to be named as this when ingested: FINCH170204A1995

FINCH{yr2}{mn0}{day0}{filenamebase:-5,5}

I use up to 3 Nikon cameras and each has the numbers prefixed with A, B or C.
