« on: July 06, 2017, 09:47:22 AM »
Good morning, today I registered in the forum because I have the following doubt ... I use Mac- Leica with DNG  files and I can see the data of the photo but NOT the Aperture.
After opening the photo with Camara Raw I just read the opening in PM.
What am I doing wrong ??
Someone can help me, from now thank you and sorry for my English I use a translator

Are you saving the DNG from Adobe Camera RAW?
Does the problem happen with images that have not been modified?

Hmm.  That's not making sense to me.  What is the opening value?

You're using the {aperture} variable in your Info Text?  And it is blank?

Which Leica model are you using?

In Aperture does not give info once the photo in ACR will be there if it shows the value.
Use Leica M9
Thank you

When you say "Aperture" are you talking about Apple's Aperture application?  If so, we don't make that application and do not provide support for it.  Apple discontinued Aperture a few years ago.  Their current product is "Photos".  Please contact Apple for support on Aperture.

Could you please post your question in your preferred language and perhaps we can find a better translation?

Thanks,

OK

Does the attached image illustrate what you are missing?

Could you please provide a sample DNG file straight from the camera (unmodified)?

Thanks,

I use a Leica M9 and as far as I know, Leica rangefinders do not record the f stop. With some lenses, it'll make a guess and sometimes that guess might even be close. Usually not.
