Ingest Errors
« on: November 05, 2017, 07:42:50 AM »
Hello I'm running Photo Mechanic Version 5.0, build 18980 (60d39ba) on Mac OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6 and I'm getting errors on every image I try to ingest. It is impacting every image from multiple cards when trying to ingest to a WD easystore external hard drive. PM log is attached.

What format is the disk in the "easystore"?  Check it with DiskUtility.

ExFAT. I've been using this drive for months and haven't had a problem until this week. I formatted it upon original purchase.

Why a non-macOS standard filesystem?  Do you need to also plug it into a Windows machine?

I ingest all of my photos to WD external drives. I don't like to keep all of the files on my comp hard drive - slows it down when I work in Lightroom. ExFAT is the way all of my externals are formatted and I've never had an issue until now.
