Interesting.  No scaling is happening according to the log.

I'd like you to do another test.  Copy your image to a folder all by itself and browse only that folder.  Empty your cache (in Preferences/Caching) and then reproduce the problem and then while PM is running, switch out to the Finder and zip up the cache folder.  It is in this location by default:

~/Library/Caches/Photo Mechanic/

There should be a cache folder at that path.  Compress it and post it here.

I'd like to see if the scaling itself is somehow the cause of the problem.

Hi Kirk,
Here is the cache file and log, I have noticed in the cache folder image show exactly the problem


and I have resized the preview window twice then the cache folder generate two new image files in different size but still has the problem, I have also attached the log  (named as PM_log after resize.zip and cache after resize.zip)


do you have any mac running macOS Sierra or macOS High Sierra, can easily see the problem

Thanks for the logs.  Please check this version and let me know if it fixes your problem.  (You can turn off the logging flag if it is working well for you.)
