What Does "Evaluate" Mean on Rating in IPTC Stationary
« on: March 16, 2018, 11:17:29 AM »
I am struggling to get Fuji RAW in-camera ratings to work with PM5 and Lightroom. It appears that the in-camera ratings are only written to the JPEG and not the RAF. While poking around in PM5 I noticed the IPTC Stationary "Rating" option has an "Evaluate" setting. What is that for?

Matthew,

It allows you to use a {variable} that once evaluated, would become the Rating.  As long as the variable evaluates to 0, 1-5, then it would become an actual star rating on the image that it is applied.
